Jessica Perry
Freelance and SCVA artist working with a range of mediums and styles including 3.D wire, textile sculptures, clay and casting into plaster or bronze. Large works have been commissioned for permanent public display, and small personal items, such as the very popular recycled button necklaces are sold in galleries in Norfolk and Suffolk.
Jessica Perry led a free family afternoon creative workshop at Sutton Hoo during October half term 2009. She had studied the Sainsbury Centre’s North Australian artefacts, especially looking at the decorative details of insects on boomerangs. This led to making 3D spiders from wire and wool.
