Storey, Virginia
Virginia Storey
Virginia Storey is an artist and workshop leader based in Halesworth in Waveney District. Her involvement with the pilot project included mentoring other artists new to this kind of work, as well as offering her own workshops at Beccles and Halesworth using wire mask-making techniques. Virginia used the theme of the Green Man, and at Halesworth showed pupils how they could incorporate natural materials into their masks, relating this activity to the costumes at Papua New Guinean festivals.
